Hello and welcome to Tric Ultrasound and Microchip. I am an individual business that's based in Ferndale, Mid-Glamorgan, South Wales. I'm a fully qualified pregnancy scanner and I also microchip. I had to complete both this course and had to pass proficiencies to have this qualification. I am a mother of 2 children and an animal lover with both cats dogs and rabbits. These are very loved family pets and an essential part of family life.
Ultrasound scanning involves a non-invasive abdominal scan to confirm pregnancy. These scans are completed when your pet reaches 30 days gestation (preferably no more than 35). You will be part of this and will be able to see the sac of each animal that I am scanning and I will talk you through what I'm doing, and you will be able to see your fur babies.
I will treat your pets as if they are my own as I know how important these are to the individual and the family, you will see these on screen. This will confirm for you if your much-loved pet is expecting. This will allow you to plan their delivery and be prepared to welcome your new fur babies into your home. I will attend your home to complete this as your pet will be more comfortable in their own environment.
I am also fully qualified to complete your fur babies’ microchips from 6 weeks old and this is a legal requirement for canines. I can also microchip other animals to give you peace of mind if they wherever go missing. To implant chip under the skin of an animal as a means of identification from a registered company.
A microchip is a tiny piece of material made of silicone the size of a grain of rice that contains an individual number which will be individual to your fur babies. This allows it to store a lot of information individual this will include your name, address and contact details. Many dogs have microchips so their owners can easily find them if they get lost.
A microchip provides secure, reliable, and permanent identification, which greatly increases the likelihood that your pet if lost, will be returned home to you. A microchip only does its job if it is registered with up-to-date contact information in a relevant database.
I will provide and complete the microchip insertion and explain what you need to complete for your pets’ details to be correct on the online database that is relevant to the microchip inserted. I will then provide you with a card for each pet with an individual microchip number and all contact details with the company the chip is registered to.
I will treat your pets as if they were my own and will include you in the microchip insertion if you so wish and offer reassurance to your fur baby throughout.
